With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Katie J Byler of Orwell, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2025 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Weaver and Katie Weaver (Miller); her husband Ed; and her sons, Dominic and Zachary Byler.
She is survived by: her son Tyler; her child-in-law Abby Chernesky; her siblings, Ada Valent (Joe), Fannie Miller, John Weaver (Sarah), Mary Yoder (Crist), Crist Weaver (Rosemary), Ida Schmucker, Andy Weaver (Linda), Barbara Byler (Robert), Joe Weaver (Martha Ann), Jerry Weaver (Esther), Melvin Weaver (Sarah), Danny Weaver (Mary), Martha Slaubaugh (Ray) and Betty Baker (Mike); and also, Betty Coblentz (David), Irene Coblentz (Lester) and Fannie Mae Byler (Henry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home (15670 W High St, Middlefield, OH 44062). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
