He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Hill Cruey (Randy Turk) of Wooster; his children, John Cruey (Amanda) of Indiana, Jerome Cruey of Akron and Patricia Steiner of Wooster; his grandsons, Noah, Nick, Donald and Kevin; and his siblings, Margaret Hershberger of Wooster, Deborah Cruey of Orrville, James Cruey of Wooster and Angie Beckler (Gary) of Wooster.
