He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Baughman and Laura Baughman (Gambier); his stepfather Marvin Brueck; and his sons, Bobby Baughman and Mike Lowers.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Smith Lowers; his children, Penny Helms (Jim) of Orrville, Allen Baughman (Carol) of Orrville, Debbie Baughman of Wooster, Cindy Zimmerman (Jim) of Orrville, Joey Baughman (Tina) of Ansted, W. Va, Deb DeLaney (George) of Apple Creek, Mark Lowers of Wooster, Becky Numbers (Kevin) of Va and Connie Herman (Jerry) of Fredericksburg; and his sisters, Ruth Marhefka of Burbank and Leah Peters of Copley, Ohio. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 there will be no public services.
