He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Gibbs; his children, Thelma Gibson (Sam) of Massillon, Dave Head (Mary) of Sugar Creek, Cordelia Stoaks (John) of Wilmont, Jennifer Miller (Levi) of Stone Creek, Colleen Sauerbrey of Brewster and Jason Head (Jenny) of Hartville; and his sisters, Gail Schoenfield of Massillon, Mary Lou Lee (Jim) of Canton and Kathy Vaughn (Troy) of Navarre. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
