She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Garver and Olive Mae Garver; her husband Donald Massie; her children, Darrell Massie, Donald Massie and Danita Massie Mallileu; and her sister Ellen Haueter.

She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Massie (Robin), Dale Massie (Cindy) and Dean Massie; and her sister Wilma Holderman.
