He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Zook and Elsie Zook (Mast); his grandson Anthony Zook; his sisters, Mabel Smoker and Mary Ruth Zook; and his brothers-in-law, Calvin Smoker and Naaman Stoltzfus.
He is survived by: his wife Velma J. Dillman; his children, Sharon McDorman (Joe) of Mt. Crawford, VA, Kristine Witmer (Nelson) of Salem, Merle Zook (Dorene) of Mount Sidney, VA and Mark Zook (Kristen) of Orrville; his grandchildren, Aaron McDorman (Charity), Ben McDorman (Ashley), Andrew Witmer, Alex Witmer (Morgan), Adam Witmer (Liz), Matt Zook (Erin), Kelsey Watson (Jared), Jacque Zook, Kyle Zook (Tara), Joel Zook (Jera) and Ally Romero (Steve); and his siblings, Marvin Zook (Melva) of Ontario, Leroy Zook of Narvon, PA, Verna Stoltzfus of Farmersville, PA, Miriam Stoltzfus (John) of Belleville, PA and Martha Zook of Narvon, PA. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Auble Funeral Home (512 E Oak St, Orrville, OH 44667). A celebration of life was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Mennonite Church (7843 Smucker Rd, Smithville, OH 44677).
