He was predeceased by : his parents, Dewey McDowell and Velda McDowell (Flory). He is survived by : his wife Margaret; his children, Judy Kiss (Bill) of Boca Raton, FL, Jeff McDowell (Cheryl) of Ocala, FL and Mike McDowell of Hialeah, FL; and his grandsons, Ted of Boca Raton and William Kiss of Boca Raton.
