He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beardman and Margaret Beardman (Ritter); and his brother-in-law Michael Sliver. He is survived by: his wife Sarah; his children, Carole Steel (Daryl), Cynthia Brandt (Eric), Christopher Beardman (Andrea), Rita Valenzuela and Andrea Anderson (Clay); and his siblings, John Beardman, Martha Wolanzyk (Alex), Margaret Sliver, Patricia Gillis (Colin) and Teresa Eppley (David). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
