He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorma F. Justice; his parents, Orval G. Crites and Rushie B. Crites (Dorma Faye Crites); his siblings, Lena Jackson, Dencil Crites, Mildred Davis, Wilda Black, Dolly Crites, Leon Crites, Betty Plymale and Thelma Wayne; his sons, Mark Crites and Jeffrey Sears; and his friend Don Messenger.
He is survived by: his brother Odis Crites of Erbacon, WV; his children, Tamela Brown of Orrville, Kimberly Logan (Paul) of North Carolina, Charles R. Crites of Killbuck and Christina (Dave Cogar) of Dalton; and his stepchildren, Paula Dean (Frank) of Orrville, Georgette Greegor (Reid Woodruff) of Dalton and Rick Schumaker of Canal Fulton. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 26 Great-grandchildren.
