With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol K. Bishop of Orrville, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Skabar and Wilma Skabar (Galowicz); her son Theodore Bishop; her children-in-law, Dennis R. Hostetler and Peggy Bishop; and her sister-in-law Carolyn Skabar.
She is survived by: her husband Bud (Monsenior Hoot); her children, Deborah Smith (Ronald) of Orrville, Teresa Riblet (Roger) of Orrville, Cheryl Steiner (David) of Holmesville, James Bishop of Orrville, Paul Bishop of Orrville and Elizabeth Koehler (John) of Orrville; her daughter-in-law Maria Bishop of Orrville; her grandchildren, Nichole Wirtzberger, Darren Hostetler, Kelsey Hoffman, Jared Riblet, Shawna Juhasz, Tara Jacobs, Samantha Evans, Devon Steiner, Hannah Koehler, Nathan Bishop, Danae Owens, Nicholas Bishop, Michelle Conley, Charlie Cihlar, Guy Polzel, Danielle Mateo, Melissa Glover and Marco Salazar; and her siblings, Gerry Walko (Ron) of Linden, MI, Margaret Aukerman (Don) of Orrville, John Skabar of Zanesville and Mike Skabar (Belinda) of Orrville. She is also survived by 30 great grandchildren.
