It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ann I. Welby of Orrville, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ann leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ann may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Welby and Audrey Welby (Schwinefus); and her brother-in-law Don Hulsebos. She is survived by: her children, Keegan Hange of Wooster, Rhys Hange (Carla Cruz DeSousa) of Tulsa, OK and Logan Hange (Brianna) of Dalton; her siblings, Laura Welby of Santa Barbara, CA, Joyce Hulsebos of Santa Barbara, CA, Ellen Welby of Carpinteria, CA and David Welby of Santa Barbara, CA; and her daughter Dr. Priscilla Hamukwala of Lusaka, Zambia. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; and several very close friends.
