He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Tackett and Draxie Tackett; his siblings, Wendell, Moody Tackett and Louise Morgan; his grandchild Reid Tackett; and his parents-in-law, Walter and Anna Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Missy Graham (Chris), Roy Lee Tackett (Karen), Katie May (Sean), Kermit Tackett (Stacey) and Draquesana Varney (James); and his siblings, Nova Derexson, Harold Tackett (Sandy), Shirley Sharp (Kenny) and Judy Calder (Robert). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
