He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde L. Downard and Mary Esther Downard; his brothers, John Richard (Shirley) and Norman Charles Downard; and his brother-in-law Paul Barnhouse.
He is survived by: his wife Ida Downard (Cline); his daughters, Shelly Quinn and Diane Weaver (Jon); his grandchildren, Andrew Downard, William Weaver, Jacob Quinn and Katelyn Quinn; and his sister Mary Jane Barnhouse.
