He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Johnson and Rose Johnson (Marshall); his grandson Donald H. Johnson III; and his brother John W. Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Mamie Louise Johnson; and his children, Donald H. Johnson Jr. (Joelle) and Vicki Hinson. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and four siblings.
