He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Simonson and Elsie Thrasher Simonson; and his siblings, Lawrence, Joseph, Dennis, Eddie, Michael, Christopher, Regina and Ruthann.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Beals Brenner Simonson; his children, Melissa Pierce of Hillsboro, Angie Penny (Kelly) of Midland and Jonathan Simonson of Hillsboro, Ohio; his stepsons, Paul Brenner (Elly) of South Bend, Nick Brenner (Lisa) of Morrow and Ben Brenner (Megan) of Loveland, Ohio; and his siblings, David, Raymond and Mary. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
