Virginia Hazel Molnar Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hazel Molnar of Oregon, Ohio, born in Curtice, Ohio, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hornyak and Gizella "Hazel" Hornyak; her husband Elmer J. Molnar; and her sisters, Anna Mae Zajacz and Rosemary Vamos.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Molnar (Jen), Mary Luzader and Pam Taptich (Glenn); her grandchildren, Jessica Riter (Ryan), Allison Luzader, James Molnar (Matthew), Kaleigh Sammut (Tony), Justis Madrigal and Zoe Molnar; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Olivia, Addison, Kennedy, Micah, Ethan and Isaac; her brothers, Joseph Hornyak (Carol) and Tom Hornyak (Laila Kujala); and her brother-in-law Steve Vamos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gardens of St Francis (930 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A rosary was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be directed to Helping Hands of St. Louis or The Gardens of St. Francis.
