He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Sandish and Mae Sandish; his children, Steven, Karen Hinkle (Wayne), Jennifer Mayer (Don), Susan Rossman (Paul) and Thomas (Lori); and his brothers, George (Pat) and Ernest. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Oregon Senior Center.
