He is survived by: his wife Peggy Logan (Margaret); his children, Barbara Richmond (Nathan) of Big Rapids, MI and David Heider (Shannon) of Oregon; his grandchildren, Baylon, Faith, Hope Heider of Oregon, Donovan and Kaylee Richmond of Big Rapids, MI; his sisters, Joyce Schafer of Medina and Carol Wilson (John) of Lake Township, Ohio; his siblings-in-law, Ruth Heider (Logan) of Bowling Green, Tom (Patti) of Walbridge, Rick (Jennifer) of Oregon and Doug (Gina) of Columbus, Indiana; and his pet Missy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
