He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Schimmel and Kathleen Schimmel (Chandler); and his siblings, Julius Schimmel, Kenneth Schimmel, Dennis Schimmel, Dale Schimmel and Donna Sanders.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Schimmel; his children, Ronald Schimmel Jr. (Danielle Gray), Christopher Schimmel (Rachel) and Shilo Hooks (Jon); his grandchildren, Brayden, Aidan, Lillian, Liam, Jaxon, Maverick and Shaylinn; and his sisters, Norma Lutman and Kathy Veeley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
