He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Detlef and Dorothy Detlef (Betterly); and his brother John Detlef. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Princess Kimberly Detlef, Robert Charles Detlef (Beth) and Bryan Detlef (Amy); his grandchildren, Joshua Detlef-Loveday (Sheena), Christopher Detlef, Nathaniel Detlef and Dakota Detlef; his great grandchildren, Dominic Devers and Beautiful Maya Detlef; his siblings, Valerie Shaver and Donald Detlef (Rose); his sister-in-law Laura Detlef; his aunt Janice Kohn (Christopher); and his uncle James Detlef.
