He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Methena and Carol J. Methena Sr. (Bender); and his siblings, Ben, Bill, Terry, John and Judy Kohli.

He is survived by: his siblings, Diana Chasteen, Kathy Chasteen Beth Curavo (Bob) and Jim Sharp (Melanie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorial contributions be directed to Toledo Humane Society or Charity of Donor's Choice.
