She was predeceased by: her parents, Merryl Havener and Arline Havener (Woleslagel); and her siblings, Karen Morse and William Havener. She is survived by: her children, Kari Nowak (Joe), Jason Dickinson and Brandee Grosjean (Kenny); her grandchildren, James Dickinson (Allie), Brooke Nowak, Kaitlyn Nowak, Savannah Grosjean and Seth Grosjean; and her great grandchild Lorelai Dickinson.
Memorial contributions in Merlene's memory may be made to the Toledo Zoo or the Toledo Humane Society.
