Mary Ellen Lander Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2020, at the age of 93, Mary Ellen Lander of Oregon, Ohio, born in Moline, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Vavra and Frank Vavra; her husband Wayne Lander; and also Wayne. She is survived by: her sister Shirley Wood of Poultney, VT; her children, Linette Lander of Washington, DC, Janet Hoyt (Tom) of Pittsburgh, PA and Patricia Kronk of Columbus, OH; and her grandchildren, Jim Hoyt of Las Vegas, NV, Dan Hoyt of West Hollywood, CA, Lindsay Kronk of Cleveland, OH and Camille Kronk of Cleveland, OH. She is also survived by her husband, she did not leave her children.
The family is grateful for the valiant services provided by Heartland Hospice nurses during challenging pandemic circumstances, and for the loving care she received as a resident of Esther's Place of Columbus from 2018 until her passing.
