It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Thomas Maix of Oregon, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Maix and Freda Maix; his wife Betty; his son Daniel Maix; his sisters, Elvira Maix and Donna Gomoll; and his daughter-in-law Michelle Maix.
He is survived by: his children, David Maix, Tina Scott (Craig), Tonya Maix-Carstensen (Randy) and Norman "Rocky" Maix; his grandchildren, Danny Maix II (Lori), Desiree' Maix (Milan Voska), Corey Dombrowsky, Ron Dombrowsky, David Maix (Jessica), Bill Maix, Scott Limpf (Pam), Tony Scott (Lynsey), Jim Scott (Katie), Ashley Sagrero (Luis), Lindsey Ankney (Tommy), Kayla Krotzer (Charlie) and Kelsey Miller; his daughter-in-law Barb Maix; and his pets, Sly, Cadbury and Walleee. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren.
