It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Louise Nixon (Oregon, Ohio), who passed away on July 17, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Edward Nixon Jr.; her grandchildren, Jeffry Hegarty and Bailey Hayden; and her siblings, Patrick Desmond and Theresa Amberg Chattaway.
She is survived by: her siblings, Elaine Mohr, Timothy Desmond and Kathleen Powell; her children, Lisa Gordon (Michael), William Nixon III, Rebecca Belford (Matthew) and Patrick Nixon; her grandchildren, Jacob Richards (Laura), Benjamin Richards, Maxx Gordon (Amanda), Chase Nixon (Anna), Destiny Sillamen, Taylor Myers and Victoria Belford; and her great grandchild Castiel Richards.
Laura loved sending gifts to the children at Toledo Children's Hospital in the name of Jeff and Bailey, donating meals and secret Santa gifts to various places during the holidays.
