It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lamonte Hopings of Oregon, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Lamonte Bernard Hopings, Jr., Lawrence Lionel Hopings (Monique) and Sonequa Marie Hopings; his parents, Lawrence Hopings, Sr. and Loretta Hopings-Levesque; and his siblings, Claude Hopings, Telly Hopings Sr., Valerie McCrae, L'Tanya White, Bianca Hampton, Illonna Garrett and Connie Walker (Larry). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
