It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Burkhart of Oregon, Ohio, born in Ottawa, Ohio, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Niese and Marcella Niese (Weis); her husband Franklin Burkhart; and her brother Eugene Niese (Tip). She is survived by: her children, Deborah Gladieux (Bryan), Gregory Burkhart (Michelle) and Kimberly Skoczyn (David); and her grandchildren, Bethany Gladieux, Kristin Mills (Aaron), David II Skoczyn (Alexis), Bryanna Knott (Chris), Katelyn Skoczyn (Zachary), Mariah Burkhart (Eric) and Jerod Burkhart (Katie). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
