He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Thornberry and Elizabeth Thornberry (Wetzel); and his nephew Danny Desseau. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Thornberry; his sisters, Catherine Dusseau and Joanne Burgess; his nieces, Robin Dusseau, Donna Kamann (Robert), Shelly Rieger (Jim) and Bridget Burgess; his nephew Jimmy Dusseau; and his great-nieces, Natalie and Sarah.
