He is survived by: his children, Sonya Pecina (Leo), Sofia Garcia, Juanita Garcia, Connie Herrera (Antonio) and John Garcia Jr.; his siblings, Marylou Magana (Pepe), Nancy Garcia, Freddie Garcia, Robert Garcia (Mary) and Louie Garcia (Corrina); and the mother of his children Janet Garcia Tristan. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
