He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Grady and Verda Grady (Dixon); his wife Joyce Higley; and his son-in-law Steve Shingledecker. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Roberts (Fred), Karen Shingledecker and Kathy Facer (Ron); his grandchildren, Kristina Newman (Christopher), Kelly Braden (Jack), Billie Jo Roberts, Michael Shingledecker (Sarah), Rebecca Philpott (Matthew), Kimberly Facer, Jill Kirk (Dustin) and Danny Facer; and his great grandchildren, Jaelyn, Kendall, Mason Braden, Laney, Connor Newman, Raelynn Shingledecker and Tenley Philpott.
