It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Shanks (Oregon, Ohio), who passed away on May 17, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Shanks and Ann Shanks (Bihl); his grandsons, Jacob Shank and Jonathan Shank; and his brother Charles Shanks.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Smith (Kim), Jim Shanks (Brenda) and Victoria Sapp (Marty); his grandchildren, Chasity Stephen (Tyler Hiller), Jessica Wachtell (Jeff), Abigail Okorowski (Brett), Jordan Shanks (Ryan Adams), Kendall Shanks, Ashley Granger (Ben Masternak), Scott Granger and Lindsay Granger (Matt Parsil); and his brother George "Bud" Shanks (Joann). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
