She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Rakay and Mary Rakay (Kiss); her husband Richard; her daughter Christine Sanchez; and her siblings, Andrew, John, Gisella and Agnes Rakay.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy, Rick (Wendy) and Brian (Robyn); her grandchildren, Greg (Erin), Lindsey Nutter (Kyle), Nathan (Megan) and Nicholas (Andrea); and her great grandchildren, Madison and Carson. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
A Mass was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at the Central Catholic High School (2550 Cherry St, Toledo, OH 43608). Visitation was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Epiphany of Our Lord (St. Stephen Church) (1880 Genesee St, Toledo, OH 43605). A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to Epiphany of the Lord (St. Stephen) Church.
