He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gogley and Catherine Suchocki (Schmid); his stepfather Leonard Suchocki; his sister Janet Donnelly; and his grandson Levi Komives.

He is survived by: his pets, Riley and Zena; his children, Wendy Hernandez (Gogley), Amy Hamilton (Gogley), Ron Komives, Jim Komives and Bill Komives; and his sisters, Leah Gogley and Diane Sensor. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
