He was predeceased by: his father Jack Harpel. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Harpel (Kansorka); his children, Julie Seeger (Greg), Eric Harpel (Amanda), Jackie Harpel and Erica Szegedi; his grandchildren, Leam, Bryn, Trig, Mira and Crew; his brother Kevin Harpel (Lori); his nephews, Michael and Christopher; and the mother of his children Michelle Harpel.
