She was predeceased by: her parents, Clark Eugene and Anna Betty Cowell (Jozsa); her husband Richard Lee Shaffer; her daughter Darcy Wahl; and her brother Donald Cowell (Donna).
She is survived by: her daughter Deanna West; and her grandchildren, Randy West (Desiree), Chyna West (Rodney), Rebecca Gwozdz (Tyler), Alan West (Brittney), David West, Kaitlynn Begue, Troy Wahl and Cody Wahl. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
