With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dennie M. Sehlmeyer of Oregon, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dennie M. Sehlmeyer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, August Sehlmeyer and Lourena Sehlmeyer (Brockroff); his son Dennie Jr.; his granddaughter Casey Elizabeth; his great grandchild Lila; and his siblings, John Graham, Arlene Cupp, Lois Marriman, Kathy Sherwood and Carol Butte.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Vargo); his children, Bill Scott (Carla), Diana Schroeder (David) and Denise Yanez; his grandchildren, Bill Scott (Samantha), Christie Gregg (James), Joseph Materni (Katie), Max Schroeder, Mason Schroeder, Josh Sacko (Sarah) and Jami Csendes; and his great grandchildren, Stella, Carmella, Callie, Harper, Kaiden, Sebastian, Tanner and Wyatt.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home - Oregon Chapel (440 S Coy Rd, Oregon, OH 43616). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
