It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Edward Prater of Oregon, Ohio, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Burton and Betty Jane Prater (Underwood); and his wife Margaret (Kun). He is survived by: his children, Leslie Ballew (Jeffrey), Daniel S. Prater (Kerry) and Jeffrey Prater (Victoria); his grandchildren, Jamie Rau (Brian), Joey Donaldson (Amy Barraclough), Jeremy Ballew (Ashley Smith), Daniel K. Prater and Benjamin Ballew; his siblings, Thomas Prater (Joan) and Sue Ramey (Chuck Peart); and his sister-in-law Sue Ramasocky (Ed). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
