He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George M. Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Redman); his brother Robert Johnson; his sons, Charles (Sandi), William (Debbie) and George Johnson; his wife Angela; and his daughter Ruth Meidt. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be given to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
