He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fleitz and Margaret Fleitz (Goetz); his wife Anna Marie Foos; and his sister Catherine Mangas. He is survived by: his children, Paul Fleitz (Cheryl) of Oregon, Carol Phillips (Kenneth) of Perrysburg, Janet Vay (Greg) of Fostoria and Donna Fleitz of Perrysburg; and his brother Robert Fleitz. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Ignatius Church or Cherry Street Mission.
