With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Veronie (Oregon, Ohio), born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Williams and Della Williams; her husband John Veronie; and her siblings, Donald Keyes, George, Robert, Richard Williams and Genny Hanely.
She is survived by: her children, Katherine Bernstein (Robert), Kristine Reder (Frank), Constantina MacVay (Brian) and Beth Slaughterbeck (David); her grandchildren, Nicholas Slaughterbeck, Benjamin Slaughterbeck (Allison), Andrea MacVay (Bennard Fajardo), Stephanie MacVay, Anastasia Reder and Alexandra Whiteside (Nathan); and her great grandchild Grayson Slaughterbeck. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral or Ohio Living Hospice.
