He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Workman and Geraldine Workman (Cairns); his wife Sue Damron Workman; his siblings, Robert Workman (Gerry), Jack Workman, Patty Workman, Betty Van Riper (Carroll), Sharon McQuillen and Norma Waseman (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Ken Frisby and Lane Warner.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacey Strickler (Kurt); his granddaughters, Nicole Bucher (Isaac) and Clare Strickler; his great grandchildren, Malachi, Cyrus and Abigail Bucher; his sisters, Marilyn Frisby, Ruth Warner and Connie Kemp (Terry); and his siblings-in-law, Bill McQuillen, Roy Damron and Karen Workman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
