He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. McWhorter and Maggie McWhorter (Kiser); his father-in-law William John (Virginia); his brother Richard McWhorter; and his siblings-in-law, Jamie McWhorter, Richard Tinto and John O'Donnell.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy McWhorter; his children, Suzanne McWhorter, Michael McWhorter (Mary) and David McWhorter (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Malaki Bulten, Elijah Bulten, Kristina Bulten and Breanna Wengard (Emanuel); his grandsons, Timothy McWhorter and Alex McWhorter; his stepgrandchildren, Ava, Tripp, Dominic Bulten, Alianna Wengard, Kyler and Hunter Price; his brothers, John Jr. McWhorter (Sandy) and Larry McWhorter; and his sister-in-law Shelly McWhorter (Wendy O'Donnell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westwood Alliance Church (396 Willowood Dr E, Ontario, OH 44906). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
