It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Mary Washington of Ontario, Ohio, born in Hammond, Louisiana, who passed away on August 7, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Addie Lousi Valdry and Johnny Bouva; her husband I. W. of Washington; her daughters, Ethel Mae Stokes, Charlene Taylor and Joyce of Washington; and her siblings, Joseph Valdry, Val Valdry, Eunice Jones and Eleanora Hinton.
She is survived by: her daughter Earlene of Washington; and her grandchildren, Dan Taylor Jr., Savalas Taylor (Lorie), Rajan Franklin, Daktari Wasington, Shateri Stokes, John Stokes, Terry Stokes, Daron Taylor and Lacario Taylor. She is also survived by 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
