He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Tamie Bechtel (Richard) of Nova, Trudy Bowman (Brad) of Montana, Rebecca Shafer of Mansfield and Georgia Anderson (Joshua) of Ruggles; and his siblings, Doris Gemmel and Don Shank. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
