He was predeceased by: his mother Betty J. Estep; and his grandparents, Emory Estep Sr., Stanley and Anna Owens. He is survived by: his father James F. Estep; his friends, Owls and Eagles; his grandmother Mildred Estep; his daughter Whitney Estep; his granddaughter Ava Estep; his sister Teresa Starkey (Scott); and his nephew Dakotah Starkey (Courtney). He is also survived by Many cousins, aunts, and uncles.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
