He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Elizabeth Jones (Stevens); his wife Susan Kaye Hewitt Jones; his father Kenneth Jones; and his parents-in-law, Herbert and Janice Hewitt.
He is survived by: his children, Ron Read (Julie), Jennifer Desmarais (Jason) and Jeremy Jones (Kristy); his grandchildren, Lucas, Madison Read, Vivian, Alaina Desmarais, Sebastian, Jackson and Kadence Jones; his siblings, Leslie Grimm (Lowell), Sharon Newman (Frank) and Tim Jones; and his close friend Barb Debo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
