He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Stumbo and Francesco Stumbo; his wife Betty Elaine Honeberger; and his siblings, James Stumbo, Joseph Stumbo, Nicodemus Stumbo (Nick), Mary Ganni and Anna Lako.

He is survived by: his sons, Richard Stumbo of Virginia and Marc Stumbo (Lauri Austin) of New Jersey; and his grandson Ian Stumbo of Mansfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and friends.
