He was predeceased by: his wife Melissa Thomas (Sutton); his son Paul Thomas; his stepdaughter Patricia Cummins; his granddaughter Yolanda Morehead; and his sister June Taynor.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Bettie Thomas of Crestline. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.
