With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dixie K. Guegold of Ontario, Ohio, born in Butler, Ohio, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Shrader and Geraldine Shrader (Doup); her daughter Cheryl Phelps; and her sister Debra Owens. She is survived by: her husband George Guegold Sr.; her children, George Guegold Jr., Kathy Baker and Tina Blackstone (Hutch); her grandchildren, Joe Wurth (Violet Peters), Hazel Williams (Joe), Jackson Baker, Anthony of Washington, Justin (Kait) of Washington, Laura (Eric Brown) of Washington, Haley (Anthony Dillon) of Washington, Chelsi Buck, Rody Phelps (Christy) and Cody Phelps (Chassidy); and her great grandchildren, Kira, Aidan, Connor, Gavin Williams, Julia, Amelia, Oliver, Ridge of Washington, Clark, Owen and Ethan Phelps.
Having a heart for babies, Dixie crocheted and donated 1000's of hats for babies to local Children's Hospitals.
