He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Haycook and Maxine Haycook (Compton); and his parents-in-law, William and Bernice Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Rose Haycook (Stevens); his children, Angie (Shane Patrick), Tara (Lief Hartley), Michael (Angie Ray) and Cathy Haycook of Ashland, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kristin (Matt Rowlett), Briana (Nick Weilbacher), Tori (Kay Howard), Brooklyn Wright, Emily (Matt Gibson) and David Ray; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Denali, Hayden, Adaline, Leo and Owen; and his pet Tessa.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Wappner Funeral Directors-Ontario (100 Lexington Springmill Rd S, Ontario, OH 44906). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
